Add Domains
The Add Domains tool lets you add individual domains or import them in bulk using CSV. Administrators control which data fields are available during import, keeping entries consistent across the portfolio.
For Users
Adding a Single Domain
Select the Single Domain tab and enter the domain name in the input field. If the administrator has configured additional fields, fill them in as required. Select a category if you want the domain assigned to one, then click Add Domain.
A confirmation message will show the domain name once it has been added. If the domain already exists in the portfolio the response will indicate no domains were added.
Bulk Import via CSV
Select the Bulk CSV tab. The tool displays the expected column order as numbered pills - the first column is always the domain name, followed by any additional fields the administrator has configured. Prepare your CSV file with a header row matching these column names, then paste or upload the content.
Unknown columns in your CSV are silently ignored. You do not need to include all configured columns - only the domain name column is required. Optionally select a category to assign all imported domains to, then click Import.
The result shows how many domains were added. A warning is shown if zero domains were added, which typically means the domains already exist in the portfolio.
For Administrators
Configuring Available Fields
The left sidebar contains the field configuration panel. It shows all editable domain columns as a scrollable checklist. Check the columns you want to make available during import and use drag and drop to set the order they appear in the form and in the CSV column reference.
Click Save to persist the configuration. This setting is shared across all users - every user sees the same configured fields.
Which Columns Can Be Configured
Only columns that are marked as editable in WMD settings are available for selection. Custom columns you have defined will also appear here. System columns such as domain name, registration dates, and computed fields cannot be added to the import form.
Category Assignment
Users can optionally assign all imported domains to a category during import. The category selector shows all categories the user has access to. If no category is selected, domains are added to the portfolio without a category assignment (they are still visible under All Domains).
